You may be eligible to recieve help towards your tuition fees via Government offers and initiatives. The type of help you may receive is dependent on on a range of aspects such as, your previous education, your employment status, your age and the course you would like to study.

Interest Free Finance with Once Credit

VET FEE HELP is offered for vocational courses from approved institutions.

FEE HELP (formerly known as HECs)

FEE HELP is offered to students for university studies. Students are able to access up to a life time limit as set by the government.

Other Funding Options to Help WithYour Education

Federal Government Funding

The objective of the Australian Apprenticeships Incentives Program is to develop a more
skilled Australian workforce that delivers long-term benefits for our nation and our
international competitiveness. This is achieved by encouraging employers to open up genuine
opportunities for skills-based training of their employees, through provision by the Australian
Government of financial incentives to employers who employ and train an Australian
Apprentice (apprentice or trainee).

Youth Allowance

If you are between the ages of 16 and 20, you may be eligible to receive Youth Allowance as income and for study support. If you are between the ages of 20 and 24, you may be eligible for receiving Youth Allowance towards your studies or if you are undertaking an Australian Apprenticeship

Austudy

Full-time secondary education courses, diplomas, TAFE courses, graduate courses, undergraduate courses, and some masters courses are approved for Austudy.

Abstudy

You may be eligible for Abstudy if you are of Australian Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander descent, identify as an Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander person and you are accepted as such in the community you live or have lived in.
